Draining drum

The draining drum is designed to separate the cheese grains from the whey after it has been cut and evaporated in the cheese maker in the process of producing yellow cheese and other hard cheeses. The drained grains are fed to the pressing carts, and the whey is collected in a collecting tank and, with the help of a pump, is taken away for storage or further processing.
